True Love Can Never Be Undone

Shakespeare In Love is a nice little romp in the what if category. It has enough charm to make it quite interesting. One night while I was watching it I was also reflecting on a discussion with a friend of mine when these words popped out at me. I stopped the movie and created the rest of the poem.

True Love Can Never Be Undone

In Shakespeare's verse there does remain

A romantic spirit of soft refrain

Where two hearts gather free and strong

Possessed of spirit, captured in song

To blend and join and meet as one

With fire so strong it blinds the sun

Yet soft tis as lambs summer wool

The cup runneth over, it is never full

One sound, one word, one simple glance

All can see the truth of romance

In evening skies where Venus does reign

On summer morns where sunflowers gain

Two hearts joined as one

True love can never be undone

All The Answer

All The Answer

Allegory

Prophetory

Crisis upon crisis

Storytelling at its finest

Manufacturing advantage

Creating damage

In efforts to divine

From innocence to sublime

Tangled moments that induce a shiver

Failing to deliver

Subverting promises

Airing grievances

Deny, deny, deny

Until you are blue in the face

One only has to ask why

And you answer

Why not!

That’s all the answer

You’ve ever got

Life Just Keeps On Rolling

Life Just Keeps On Rolling

There was love

There was laughter

There was involvement

Dedicated

Committed

Building on promises

Lifting hearts

In ways never known

It was good

It was right

Fit together so well

Built to last

Built to share

Giving together

Very aware

Showing that we care

There are hopes and dreams

There are plans and schemes

But in the end it all comes to naught

Life just keeps on rolling

Urging us to turn and bend

Building on its presence

Reminding us we are all pretend

Life just keeps on rolling

We can think we will mend

Life just keeps on rolling

Right to the bitter end

Heart broken

So destroyed

Taken when all was right

You are gone

I am alone

Picking up pieces

To build my home

In the unknown
