Talk like there is no tomorrow

Have a brow that is so furrowed

Live a life that is filled with sorrow

Beg steal or maybe borrow

Take a look at life

What do you see

What’s yours is mine through theology

No time to refine your ideology

Take a step up from your biology

Not waiting for your apology

Take a look at life

What do you see

Is it a crime

To wonder

What should come to pass

I get so wired am blessed by you

Love all you say and all you do

Let’s build a world together

Let’s build a world forever

Let’s explore every place every time

Body and soul and our minds

A world of dreams a world of plans

Working as one with no demands

It can’t be wrong

Sharing, caring, loving a life

Being in the moment feels so right

It can’t be wrong

Everyday I can’t help but lose control

I love you so much your body and soul

It’s My Life

Living life day by day

Cornered in by what has been

Situations gone astray

Disheartened by what I have seen

Want to live my life another way

Want a life powered by my need

Society has its strength

Can’t live off what it feeds

Not trying to make a statement

Not sure how to frame it

It’s my life

I want to see more than is known

Yesterday was a dream

Today is now moving on

Tomorrow will be the past

Memories are not where I belong

I asked around for some answers

I searched far and wide

Everyone saw a different thing

Only what they see inside

What they see is something special

It is what makes their hearts full

It’s my life

I need to be me not just another clone

Once it was said to me

It is how I look at life

It is so simple just for them

To see life like everyone else

Drinking and working and playing games

Being what they want to be

I sense there is something more

Something special I cannot see

I don’t mean to be insulting

My thoughts are resulting

It’s my life

I have to live it as it’s meant for me

In my arms we are dancing real slow

Talking quite quietly so we get to know

Where we stand in a world of our dreams

Where we see what each other needs

Dancing nice and slow

Taking our time to see

We focus so long we keep dancing on

Long after they have put on another song

Feeling the warmth between me and you

Feeling the spark created by we two

In your eyes I see hopes and dreams

Your arms hold me tighter or so it seems

As the music plays we keep dancing on

When I think of you each and every day

I search my mind for the right words to say

So badly wanting the right things for you

Giving all the love I have I can do

Won’t you come and stay with me

Forever

Please

When I see your picture you smile at me

It lights up my life so that I can see

I long to hold you ‘til the ends of time

I long to be with you through all we find

Lightning lights up the dark’ning summer sky

I keep thinking to myself my oh my

There is so much warmth created this way

All the love in the world can you just stay?

Imposing days

Built in amazing ways

Winter of darkness

Settled over me

Blocked my eyes

I couldn't see

But your perspective

On a cold winter’s day

Was quite sound

Wasn't looking for love

When you came around

You picked me back up

Turned on the sound

Gave me perspective

Both feet on the ground

There is life to live

Oh now I can see

A refreshing change

Come over me

With your direction

You think you are in charge but we know that’s not true

Somebody else does what you used to say and do

The world’s in crisis

We’ve moved on from the last time you were in power

All you can do is stand there and glower

Inflation too high, armies under fire

Your kind of talking has been thrown on the funeral pyre

Morning sunshine

Settles its rays

On your golden hair

Your mind wanders freely

In the love that we share

Warm words spoken

Deep in your heart

Stimulate, initiate

Responses flow freely

Early morning sunrise

Katydids and catching flies

Watching I surmise

That your heart is full of life

Here is what I know

Here is love

Here is soul

Take your time

Let it grow

Let it reach

As you know

Talking in the afternoon

Watching a daylight moon

A moment caught much too soon

Warmed the depths of my heart

Early dinner in the yard

An evening spent playing cards

Laughter that wasn’t too hard

A smile that said more than you could say

And so it was on dewy grass on a starry night

We talked of all the things we knew

This feeling kept getting stronger

We both said it was because of you
