To Love Someone 

There is love left in here

I may be old but I’m not dead

There is nothing better

Than feeling warmth of someone’s caring

There is love left in here

I will find it again out there

Our mutual needs will be met

There are things that I can share

There is love

And there is need

There are emotions 

Left to feed

Thoughts and ideas 

To be shared

Felt deeply

To be be aware

To love someone

To love someone

There is love left in here

No need to hurry times not at play

Spending time sharing the warmth

Feelings good chase away the blues

Once it was urgent

Felt the need to rush

Had to have 

Filled with lust

Be aware

Of what others shared

But now

It’s about us

About feeding the need

About being involved

About the need to see

Contentment

As we age

Contentment

At a different stage

To love someone
