A Day At The Beach 2

Wind pushed waves

Break on the shore

Amusing onlookers

By the score

Feeling Excited 

As the sun 

Warms their bodies

Easing their aches

Washing away 

A long week

Miles of sandy beaches

Push their imaginations

As they dance 

With the waves

Play amongst 

The underwater dunes

Feeling the undercurrent gently 

Prod them during their 

Swimming marathons

Some stroll in conversation

Some idly tan

Others toss

Balls 

In excitement

While others 

Build

Enormous sandcastles

That will be washed away in the ebb

And flow of nature's rhythm

Lasting 

Until the sun drops

Romantically

Sending rays of light

Bouncing

Off the waves

 Before dipping

Beyond the horizon
