A Song I Sing

Love is a song I sing

A search for something true

Building strength in my mind

Affecting all I do

With a hope that in the end

I have been true to myself

In a world where I will bend

Not needing others wealth

Love is a song I sing

An expression of my heart

A feeling I hope to bring

In a world that is so dark

A type of sharing that is mine

Lifting downtrodden souls

Helping others see the line

And be more in the know
