Am I Dreaming

I was there when love came crawling to my door

Blessing my life in ways I kept asking for more

I had to wonder it what I felt was true

No one had ever known me the way that you do

When you went away something was truly amiss

When you returned it was such a feeling of bliss

I had to wonder if I was dreaming was true

All the love in the world was wrapped up inside of you

I have to wonder if I am dreaming

All of this

At night I dream

I hope to know what it means

But then you are there

All is well in the world

Because you care

Fairy tale dreams and sugar plum endings

Arced light for my heart keeps on mending 

Gentle words and soothing touch fill my everyday
