Through Central Park 

And when the night comes

I hunker down

With my books and my poetry

Searching the unknown

And when the night comes

I find solace

Lingering carefully

In the silent surrounds

Life as tragedy

Life as summer breeze

Life as being more

Than it does seem

Life as comedy

Life as fulfilling needs

Life as reaching

For what I need
