Taken away by vision

Solo in solitude

Inspired writing

Without distractions

No matter who else

Was in the room

Plucking away at the piano

Noodling on the guitar

Words flowing with decisions

Rewriting by the bar

And in the end

It was clear

When she returned

And sought company

That writing was

Intensely personal

So focused

And ahead

By far
