Chase

Peaceful ideals

Through steel

And glass

Canyons

Heat intensifying

Creating more chaos

Fearful for their lives

Not understanding

How they got here

Nor where 

They will end up

Disrespect 

Penning their thoughts 

Shaping their direction

Choices limited

Eternal damnation 

Threatens their very soul

Mindless repetition

Defines their survival

Until they cave

To the whims

Pursuing

Their independence
