When I feel warm

When I feel at one with my life

I always come back

To my memories of you

Hearing your words

Feeling the love in what you do

Such caring words

Still in love with you 

In the darkness of the night

In the brilliance of the day

Everywhere in my world

There are signs of you

There are words and thoughts

That lighten up my day

Rising above

My feelings of being blue

I’ve kept your thoughts

In the far corners of my heart

A quiet place 

Where I can reach you

I can’t hold your hand

I can’t see you smile anymore

You are still here

In all that I do
