She Rose
She rose before sunrise
Leaving her sleeping form behind
Wandering through the garden
Gazing into the unknown
She disrobed gently
Before lying down
Fallen leaves around her
Doe eyed creatures
Gazing on with valor
A subtle salute
To days gone by
A note of sadness
Tinged their demeanor
Restless dreams
Sheets in disarray
Failure of the fathers
Repose on display
Words echo
In silent salute
Guardians,watchdogs
Always resolute
In the morning snow
She lies in comfort
Quietly napping
Apple in her hand
Surveying all
Who walk about the land
